I have been meeting with three other women artists working towards a group show of our work inspired by our shared love of maps. This will be on March 29th-April 7th at 10, Back Newton Grove, LS7 4HW. Opening 5.30-8.30pm.

Here are a couple of images of my work, much more to follow:
This is a poem by Rumi, 12th century Islamic mystic, letterpress printed with great skill by my friend Peter Cartwright onto the fabric which formerly backed an old map of lands in northern Belgium on which fighting took place in both WW1 and 2. The material now holds a message of hope and unity much needed in these times.
Another letterpress piece- a mesostic of our surnames carrying the word Wood. We did a large-scale collaborative work in a local wood, which will also be on show in the Mappish exhibition.
We are Susan Wright, Lynette Willoughby, Carla Moss and Lesley Wood.
